On stage or in the classroom, our students study with the best artists/teachers in New England.
By putting theory into practice, our students have opportunities to perform, sharpen their skills, and work one-on-one with supportive faculty. Our students are prepared for successful careers as performers, scholars, and educators - without the debt.
The quality of music education at Rhode Island College is second to none. Our music graduates go on to sing with the Metropolitan Opera, appear as soloists on national television, conduct regional orchestras nationwide and so much more.
RIC's Theatre B.A. program offers concentrations in performance, design/technical theatre, musical theatre, and general theatre.
A theatre minor provides a great way for non-theatre majors to diversify and compliment their major program.
The B.A. in dance performance encourages individual expression while emphasizing the three aspects of dance study: style and technique, composition and performance, history and theory.
Our minor in dance gives students this three-pronged experience in a small package, complimenting their major.
Auditions are required for music, theatre and dance majors at Rhode Island College.
Please Note: You don't need to wait to be admitted to RIC in order to audition, but we recommend that you at least have your Admissions application completed by your audition date.
Performance is your passion. Pursue it!
